Moving forward, the State of Illinois including the Illinois Tollway, will require all small businesses to be registered certified in the Small Business Set Aside (SBSA) Program in order to perform work on projects as a small business. To give you a better understating of what this is please click on this link.
This video is part of the Summer/Fall Series of very useful information put on the Illinois Tollway Department of Diversity and Inclusion. The link provides information on the Small Business Set-Aside program and a step-by-step tutorial on how to complete their brief registration process. We will give you a check list of documents needed to complete this certification and keep in contact with you on the progress of the certification status.
The CBDC is here to assist and will do most of the work for you to complete this registration. Please contact one of the following people to get you started
LaTasha Binder, email@example.com
Carina Lowe, firstname.lastname@example.org
Paul Murtagh, email@example.com
Cynthia Stewart, firstname.lastname@example.org
Registration in the SBSA Program is required. After taking the time and effort to put together a bid don’t lose out due to not having the registration. A client of the Tollway Technical Assistance program was deemed non responsive because they were not registered in the program. Let the CBDC do most of the legwork for you.
Be a lucky firm, as the definition of luck is when preparation meets opportunity!
